Common questions
What is InnerCanvas?
InnerCanvas is a drawing ritual for mental clarity. You follow a prompt, draw what you feel, and receive a gentle reflection on your color, line, and composition — then a thought to sit with. Your drawings save to a private journal you can revisit.
How does it work?
Each session gives you a prompt, a space to draw, and an AI reflection inspired by techniques art therapists have used for decades. You are already reflecting as you draw; InnerCanvas adds a calm perspective afterward.
Is InnerCanvas therapy?
No. InnerCanvas is a creative wellness ritual — not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. See our Terms for details. (If you are in crisis, see the note below.)
How do the AI reflections work, and who can see my drawings?
Reflections are generated with a third-party AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude) to interpret visual qualities like color, line, and composition. Your drawings and reflections stay in your private journal — you choose what, if anything, to share. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
